Holiday Cookie Exchange

On December 14th we gathered for our annual holiday party. This year we celebrated with a cookie exchange! The cookies ranged from traditional family recipes to fun unexpected twists on recipes (who knew you could put pretzels in with chocolate chip cookies?? Sweet, Salty & Crunchy!) At the end each cookie received a special award. We even played a few holiday games - Guess the Holiday Song & Draw a Gingerbread House with your eyes closed!! I think it's safe to say we all had a wonderful time and left with FAR too many cookies.

Wine & Canvas Night

On November 14th sisters gathered on the strip at Harley Davidson Cafe for a Wine & Canvas Night learning to paint the famous red sole shoes! There are classes offered at restaurants across the valley all featuring different paintings.

LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN!

On Saturday October 26th we met up for the monthly performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.  (If you are unfamiliar with Rocky Horror I suggest reading this link.)

The Las Vegas group known as Frankee's Favorite Obsession puts on a show monthly.  October is the Halloween Spooktacular where dressing up as your favorite Rocky Horror character or any Halloween costume is highly encouraged!!

Horror virgin (your first time attending a live performance)

 

The movie plays on the screen while the Vegas cast re-enacts the entire thing!

Most Memorable AOII Moment… My alumnae ceremony - sad in that I was leaving college, but the feeling of knowing I would be connected to such a wonderful group of girls for the rest of my life was so wonderful and special.

Interests/ Hobbies/ Talents… Karaoke, Spending time with my two dogs (Sterling and Lana), and basically anything geeky—video & computer games, board games, etc…

My greatest achievement has been… Moving from Missouri to Las Vegas all by myself in 2008 to jump start my life! It was the best decision I’ve ever made!

AOII Founder's Day

On January 13th we held our annual Founder's Day gathering at Ventano Italian restaurant in Henderson.  

In my opinion this is one of the best gatherings of the year, it brings us together in pin attire (I always love an excuse to dress us).  It allows us to remember our founder's and celebrate the 4 amazing women that started our life changing fraternity. 

To everyone who came thank you. Hope to see you at our next event.

Wranglers Game

Wanna help AOII Las Vegas and have fun at the same time? Well join us for a Wranglers hockey game on February 2, 2013. 

Tickets only cost $10 ($2.50 from each ticket will come back to AOII Las Vegas)!

AOII Ugly Sweater Party

Recently we celebrated the holiday seasons with a gathering at Cassie's house. Everyone brought a dish (or two) to pass and a children's toy that was donated to Toys for Tots. 

We all had a great time rocking our ugly holiday sweaters and enjoying the sisterhood.
