Voices for a Cure Event with Terry Fator & Arthritis Foundation

We have been invited by the Arthritis Foundation & Voices for a Cure to see "America's Got Talent" winner Terry Fator's live show and attend the VIP reception.    It is a benefit performance for the Arthritis Foundation, in honor of Terry's sister who is diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, it will take place on May 7, 2011 at 7:30 in the Terry Fator Theatre at the Mirage.  For more details please read the flyer below.

History of AOII

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on January 2, 1897, by four young women at Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City.

The object of this fraternity shall be to encourage a spirit of fraternity and love among its members; to stand at all times for character, dignity, scholarship and college loyalty; to strive for and support the best interest of the colleges and universities in which chapters are installed; and in no way to disregard, injure or sacrifice those interests for the sake of the prestige or advancement of the fraternity or any of it's chapters.

Badge: Monogram of AOII

New Member Pin: Sheaf of Wheat

Crest: AOII is the only women's fraternity that does not use a crest.  Our founders felt that the beauty and simplicity of our badge possessed enough significance to stand alone.  Crests are medieval, and we are founded on Greek ideals.  Where other groups might use a crest, we display the ROSE.
